In 2006, Doug and Candice Jones had a vision to provide personalized, compassionate and professional service in the Bridgeport and Wise County area. In November, 2006, they were proud to open the doors of their new facility called Jones Family Funeral Home.

Doug and Candice Jones have a deep desire to serve the people of Bridgeport and Wise County. Community involvement is one important goal to Doug as he wants to get to know the community in which he serves. Doug, his mother Linda, and staff greet families and friends at the door with compassion and concern and often offer the time to just listen. Being part of the community, they serve their families and friends in times of sorrow and grief, and dedicate themselves to each individual service, making each one unique and personalized. The families we serve come to us at a time of their greatest need, and we always try to live up to the trust placed in us. We believe funeral service is best rendered by one caring individual to another. Every day that we are able to help another family through a difficult loss is one more day that we are proud we chose this profession.
